Houldsworth Village is working to assist the area's new and developing businesses, growing sustainable and wealth-creating companies. 

Active partners in the Houldsworth Village project include Stockport Council, the University of Manchester Incubator Company (UMIC) Ltd., MIDAS, Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce, CIDS, Workspace Centres and Business Link North West.

Stockport’s industrial heritage has been used as a catalyst for regeneration through enterprise and development and the village today is home to over 80 businesses, with more than 450 employees.

Benefits

Wealth creation is Houldsworth Village project's direct objective and the area has become revitalised as a result of investment and increased local business activity. 

The wider community is developing through ongoing developments - with expanding work opportunities for existing residents and a spreading economic success.
